Very eclectic album. Difficult to categorize, it's sort of electro progressive blues. Look, I'm really no good with words, let's just say I like Pink Floyd and it shows on this album. Or Maybe it's metal without the distortion? My body was uncooperative, I couldn't play metal for a long while so I played more slowly and made these songs...

My third metal album. It's faster than anything I've done before. The balance between the guitar and synthesizers is more refined than on Tortured Mind. Also, many songs have both rythm and lead guitars which I previously avoided mostly for live performance considerations. But for this album I did not limit myself that way, if it sounded good, I used it and man did it sound good!

I gave everything I had to make this album, physically, emotionally... It cost me a great deal but it was worth it. Metal guitar meets techno synthesizers. Pushing back the limitations of my body to play the music that's in my head, my heart, my soul.

The Titanium Project - released june 14, 2004

Most songs on this album were composed during my "band years". That is why many have the standard verse-chorus structure. The band (that was never complete) was tentatively named "Titanium", thus the title of the album. Some of the drum parts were inspired by what drummer Yannick Rebman used to play back when we jammed at our "Cité 2000" rehearsal studio.

This was my first experimentation with electronic music. I was in a metal band at the time and these tunes were sort of a side project. At the end of summer 2000, the band seperated and Metatronik became my primary project. "eYe 1.0" was originally released on mp3.com in sept. 2000. In 2009 I remastered the album and added a few tracks ("eYe 1.1") before putting it up on jamendo.com. In 2012, I somewhat remixed it and remastered it again and this time put it on bandcamp.com.
